I must add to the reviews here. I almost a regular at green mango. I have been to alot of events there in the last couple of months. This includes Sex in the City, How to Host a Murder dinner parties, Acting Workshops, Dinner for 10 ect.. ect...
I have never been dissapointed by the food.
THe blackened fish ( I can't remember which fish) was amazing... Spicy and delicious.
The Cesear Baguette.... as well as being fabulously fresh and delisious was the hit of the acting workshop...
I've had the green curry the nibbles, just about everything.
THe staff are absolutly lovely and it you take a second to have a chat it will make your night.
Mr.Hai has been supportive of so many events in this town and always knows how to throw a good party.... (the cosmo's were delicious)
Can't really fault it.....

The Choc cake with cream cheese icing was divine! And the brownie was amazing!
WOuldn;t suggest the choc milkshakey thing though it was to coco and not particularly tasty....

I had parents that expected me to go to the olympics aged 16. Apparantly i had good shoulders.
Swimming was very scary for me until I realised that if you don't do 20 laps NO ONE CARES!!!!
WOO HOO... So I started splashing around at Thang Loi... Perfect thing for a hangover + lemon juice, or a beautiful evening of laps (only 2) and cocktails...
It's clean.
On a nice day you could almost believe that you are on a tropical island (Ko Tao maybe??)
I don't thinks it's 25m though more like 20...
I am a happy swimmwer now!

I love the shisha room....Chillin haveing a couple of bevvies.....
It is interesting to have the salsa dancers there, but........ remembering most people are sitting on the floor... perhaps their skirts shouldn;t be as short or their twirls so long. No male in the room (or female for that matter) was really engaging in those lovly shisha convo's becuase we could see what type of underwear (little) the dancer had on.
THey do alot of advertising in the backpacker area so therefore alot of backpackers come here, and it is a young crown aka....alot of students from international schools come here and try not to get busted by their teachers.
Music is better than average.... Can have a boogie some of what they play.
If youv'e got a good crowd it's always fun....
Oh And bloody hell I had my thongs pinched last weekend....... My good havianna's can't get in hanoi type. And then i had to pinch someone elses shoes to go to solace and then go busted..... so therefore no shoes (YUK!)

Very high quality german supplier. Only sells Lukas brand. They don;t have a full selection from their catelogue, but they are happy to order it from germany for you, although it will take about 3 months to arrive. You can buy small amounts of Lino for printmaking which is a rarity in Hanoi, but they don;t have a large stock. THey have all of those pesky weird things you mix in with paint to get different effects, thickener, thinner, texture paste ect ect... THey also have very good quality watercolour papers (from memory) but again limited stock and VERY expensive. I only use this shop for things i can't get at other shops.. But if you like amazing quality, this is the place to come.

You will be suprised at what you can get here! They have a fantastic array of cheaper chinese and vietnamese materials as well as better brands such as raffine, and i can't remember, but nevertheless some good quality stuff. As an art teacher we order most of out specialty suplies from here. THey are happy to provide red reciepts for tax purposes. They can make easels and canvases with an assortment of different styles and prices.
So if you have always wanted to create your own masterpieces... Start here!
