You could say im a regular here. You`ll find me there at least 5 nights a week. Since Hieu the new owner took over it has had a makeover. The crowds have started to come back on friday and saturday nights, if your into darts you can always find a money game going on the weekend. If not then theres always football on the TV and cold beer. With the new additional airconditioners its become a very cool escape form the Hanoi Summer heat. Highly recommend a visit. Great place to meet some friendly people for a chat and a few beers...

Im a fairly regular visitor to the Hub Pub, the owner is always friendly and welcoming. Drinks are CHEAP! 450k for a bottle of Jack Daniels is the sort of price i like to pay. The roof top terrace is great on those balmy hanoi evenings, and the middle floor is comfortable with those big red lounges, great place to sit and soak up the sights, sounds and smells of the old quarter from a comforatble vantage point....only complaint i have is it can be difficult to find the entrance for first timers, some new signage wouldnt hurt to get some more punters through the door....Great place with alot of potential to be even greater...

Time cafe is a favourite for a sunday lunch, comfortable seatin, nice food, nice service, everything about this place is just...well nice. The menu is fairly extensive with both vietnamse and western fare, The drink and cocktail menu is well rounded and the coffee is fantastic, nice escape from the busy streets and the summer heat. I highly recomend taking the "time" to give it a try.

In response to the question: Does anyone know where I can find good quality running shoes/trainers in Hanoi? Would rather pay more for quality than get cheapies that fall apart.....
