Im off to Kl next week with my cat. He has not had a rabies shot becase the vet said it was not needed from the UK.We will however be moving from KL to Hanoi in September, i was wondering if anyone knows whether he will need a rabies jab to go from KL to Hanoi?

Sorry to hear of your situations.
It would be good if you could both say where you are staying so that others like myself who are looking for accommodation dont fall prey to these people

I agree. You should show the police. If nothing else it may deter other landlords from doing the same thing in the future.Thankyou for telling us where to avoid.

Oh gosh, we are moving to Hanoi very soon and now i have visions of poor abandoned, amaciated cats everywhere.We are moving with our cat from the UK to KL and then to Hanoi, its costing a fortune but i just could not bear to leave him behind, he is one of the family you know.

i had no idea of the situation you speak of there and being an animal lover, especially cats, its quite heartbreaking to hear about it.

I guess i will have to brace myself for seeing things that im not used to and try and deal with them.

I will keep my eye on this thread and when i arrive i would be willing to help out in some way to make lives better for our furry little friends there

In a bit of a rush to get the house packed up and make the move over today, it was a sudden last minute thought and dont have time to trawl over many questions right now.
I will remember to look before i speak next time!
