The quality aspects of this place are well reviewed already. I just want to add that the customer service is outstanding and goes beyond the expected. When I came in to amend my order info due to a stolen cell phone, owner Kate was there and asked her Vietnamese assistant to help me down at the mobiphone to get my cell phone number back! And at the end of the day that's almost as nice a feeling as falling asleep under a silk blanket.

Are there free wi-fi cafe's or other wi-fi public spaces where one can enjoy free internet access from their laptop/pda? Thanks
I will be entering the country to live for a couple of years and am a professional photographer with some pricey gear. Are there issues getting through customs or taxes on camera gear and computers? Any recommendations on best way to transport electronics of this type into the country?
Anyone have any favorite places to buy DVD movies and TV shows? Just moved here for a couple of years and need a touch of home.
Anyone know why I might not be able to log onto any blogs from my home internet site? I set up a blog form a cafe the otherday and now can't access it or any other blog for thaqt matter.
I need help knowing the real local price of staple foods such as bread, eggs, vegetables, tofu etc. bought in the market (or a good grocery store not catering to foreigners wallets). Thanks.
Anyone know of a full service laundry and dry cleaning place near Hanoi Towers as landmark to my apt. Need asap or risk upsetting the "atmosphere" at the office. Thanks

Last week I blew up my espresso machine...it was really the one thing i was most in need of from my overseas shipment. I thought it was 220v but alas, sparks flew. So if the corner motor repairman can get it going again, can anyone out there give me info about step down converters, 220v-120v. Many thanks.
Need to know where I can buy a backgammon set. Thanks
I have a decent mountain bike, nothing overkill but perfect for city riding and I really want to have it around for a while. I don't know what the parking rules are for bikes. Can I lock it to a post or tree downtown or do I need to leave it with the moto parking and just lock the wheel. Any other advice is welcome. Thanks.
I need to turn in my passport to get a visa to travel outside Vietnam. In the meantime I need to travel within Vietnam and need to know if I can do so with a photocopy of my passport and visa only. Thanks
Though its been asked a couple times before (once by me) it remains a mystery and as I saw about 20 kayakers out on West Lake today it is time again to ask... where are they coming from and can I join in?
When it comes to tipping I am confounded as to how much is appropriate and who gets one. For example I generally do not tip at restaurants unless they are high end affairs, while the woman who does foot message gets a tip in my estimation. Still, I have no idea or system for how much to give. Any thoughts?
Hello all, my mountain bike is in need of a tune up. Anyone know of a shop that does such a service
I need a couple thousand US dollars for a trip I am making outside of Vietnam in a less then a week. The gold shop on the corner of Hoan Kiem will sell me USD for 16,900vnd. Compared to changing dong at ANZ this seems like a decent deal. But it seems too straight forward. Is there a hidden risk or disadvantage to buying USD from them?
