Super attractive menu, and everything I have tried so far have been really tasty.
Ordered lunch the other day. I recieved anough food for 2 people, costing only 6 USD.
Atmosphere-wise, it's nothing to write home about, but the staff is super!
Highly recommended!

I ordered some very simple pasta from Pane e Vino recently, and I was absolutely amazed at several thing upon the late delivery: first of all, the small portion in the container. Secondly the price, which for 50cent worth of ingredients seemed immense. Lastly the taste, of the somewhat cold and undercooked pasta, that reminded me of when I first started out cooking myself ...
I don't know if it's fair to judge a place by just one take-out ... All restaurants have bad days, and perhaps I was just unlucky, but I'm not sure I'll venture into another try with this place, with other good italian places around ...

(I'm not sure it's fair judging a restaurant from one single take-out experiense, which is what this review is solely based on, but if get the curage to go there, I will update the review)
I finally stopped one day and got their take-away menu. Same night we called for 2 pizzas, and the first sign of trouble was when I had to repeat my address no less than 10-12 times before the girl in the other end got it. Actually she didn't. Almost 1 hour later, the delivery man calls and ask for my address again!! We paid what seemed far too much and took the boxes hoping at least to get good value for the money.
Inside the pizzas were a complete mess. The box had obviously been standing vertical, and all the toppings had gathered in lumps next to the pizzas. It would have been fairly easy to redistribute it, if the pizza hadn't been completely cold, making the cheese hard!!!
We ate some anyway, and it was truly the worst pizza I have ever had!
To top the experience with Festa off, we both had quite upset stomachs the day after.
I'm not sure I will ever eat Festa food again, also judged by the other reviews. My word of advice: if you want pizza, get it from some of the known good places, like La Terrazza, Luna D'Autunno, etc, and avoid the expensive aggrevation ...

Stayed here for 10 days, and I seriously regret not having moved to another hotel after the initial 1. night.
This place is so far from elegant that I'm almost offended. The rooms smell so bad from fungus and insect spray, that I had a headache almost every day I stayed here. I changed rooms 3 times, but to no avail. In 2 of the 3 room, there was a noise coming from the wall over the bathroom, that woke me up repeatedly, even though I had equipped myself with earplugs. Also a lot of noise in the late and early hours coming from the windows that faced the interior atrium.
I think maybe i could have slep more comfortable in a chair, as the mattresses were stone hard. After a few days, I litterally ached from sleeping on them.
In one room, there were electric wires about 20cm from the shower head, and all other electric installations made me quite uncomfortable and unsafe.
The breakfast was simple and not too bad, especially on the few days where they got my order right.
Wifi internet was a joke, and worked only when I lifted the laptop up in front of the window. At least it was 'free' ...
Dispite all the trouble and uncomfort I had had, they didn't offer any discount at all. After a rather heated quarrel with the most unpleasant manager, who claimed that everything was tip-top international standard, i paid and left feeling truly suckered.
My advise would be to stay away from this place.

I completely agree ... Excellent pizza, fair prices and some really nice staff.
I can also recommend the Al Forno Ravioli, the BLT and the Chocolate Mousse. It's a work of art! :-)

Hi all!
I'm wondering how you guys are reacting to the melamin scandal, started in China some time ago? I hear that the stuff can be in bread, candy, milk, etc.
Now I read that certain products from Malaysia also contain melamin...
Is there anything one should avoid eating at this time?

The ultimate answer is get a motorcycle or maybe just a bicycle :-)
I startet out with a bicycle after around 3 months of endless taxi annoyances. Shortly after I decided to make the jump to a motorcycle. I remember how incredibly happy I was to be free of all that kind of hassle and aggrevation. Also, with a motorcycle, you're no longer regarded a blueeyed tourist, as such ... :-)
In response to the question: I've noticed two "strategies" used by taxi drivers: The fairly obvious one is when they take a long, roundabout route to inflate the meter. T...

Don't know about matchbox, but I've had some pretty good steaks at Al Fresco. Allthough every time I've left the reataurant, I have smelled like a burger jockey at McDonalds.
If you want it a little more stylish and cared for, get the filet mignon at Bobby Chinn.

I heard through a friend that Nikko has a great gym and pool. Expensive though... I think it's around 15-1600/year. Maybe it's worth a little xtra if it has what you need. I've been to Metropole gym a few times, and that certainly seem overpriced.
After checking the options, I bought my own equipment in Trinh Hoai Duc, near the stadium. Except for the pool, I very happy having it in the house. Think it all came to about 20 mill, including a running machine and a great multi machine, and a lot of loose weights and bars.
Just turn on the tv and get going :-)
