about the venue: Just Massage

I've just about given up with massages here in Hanoi. Those so-called 'spas' are either too seedy to begin with, or overpriced for the mediocre massage you get. So it was with a bit of skepticism that I made my way to Van Phuc in search for Just Massage.

As the name suggests, this is a no frills, 'Muji' approach to massages. The off-the-road location actually works for it, keeping the blaring horns of the streets a good distance away. I went for the 90' Swedish massage, and I wasn't disappointed. The young massage therapist may not be as skilled as the other experienced ones I've had elsewhere, but it was sufficient. The room wasn't too cold (a common complain with other joints I've been to), the massage bed comfortably sturdy.

If I had to nit pick - they could have had smaller rooms for those who prefer a bit more privacy. While I was going through my massage, one of their staff actually came into the same room for his afternoon siesta (the snoring, thankfully, was not too loud).

Highly recommended for those who wants a good rubdown without having to pay through their noses for one.

  • Hi all,

Would like to have some help on this: I have just moved to a new apartment with ADSL service from VNPT. I was using Viettel's service before with a Viettel-branded ADSL modem. My guess is that this modem is still usable with VNPT's services - I just need to get the setting right (DNS for example). Since their help line is never of much help, I've decided to turn to fellow VNPT line users here.

    1) What are the settings I should have to access the ADSL service? So far I only have the user name and password.

    2) Any special settings I should take note of if I want to use it with an external wireless modem?

Thanks for the help in advance!

    Philip

Thanks to queens_boulevard and Ouriel for your answers. I would have tried out all your settings, but the trouble now is - I can't connect to my modem at all! Normally after plugging in the ethernet cable, I can easily run 192.168.1.1 and configure my modem. But now I can't do it - the lights on my modem (link and ethernet) are on and steady, plus I could use the ethernet port of my laptop at other 'wired' locations (my office for example). These lead me to think that hardware wise we are fine. So, the question is: what.went.wrong? VNPT server side?

This city is tolerable only after you've a drink or two.

Props
