I have a lot of questions- sorry! But anyone know ow Vietnamese taxes work? I will have to pay vietnamese tax as Im working here over 6 months- but how??!

As far as I know you are allowed to earn 8 million dong before tax then pay 10% on earnings after that. If you are here less than 6 months I believe it is a higher %though not sure.
The employer should deduct the tax for you but I would check on that.

Thing is I'm being paid by a Danish company not a Vietnamese one...

Hi Angel,
hopefully you've sorted this out now,but just in case you haven't. It doesn't matter what kind of company you are working for - they are responsible for sorting out the tax for you. They have to withhold the tax, and pay it to the Vietnamese tax office.

If they are not doing this, you better make sure they do. It'll cause you problems if you need to take money out of the country.
