Lovely Crisps
Me in Australia with a nice cup of wine

Can anyone tell me where I can get a nice bag of Salt & Vinegar crisps? The Kettle ones are half decent but the shops seem to restock every 2 or more months =(

A beer in a back alley of Hong Kong.

The last place I saw Kettle crisps were at Dan's near the Daewoo, but that's been months. I haven't been there recently to check.

Salt & Vinegar may be in short supply but if you're looking for specifically "Kettle Chips" as we eat in my native Texas then those are plentifully available in at least 3 flavors at the grocery store on Cat Linh nearest the Horison Hotel (just before the tile/interiors shop). They also sell Spiracha sauce from Thailand (mmm) and I grabbed their last Tabasco sauces . . . he he

They probably have some extra western food there (like kettle chips) because it's right next to the British Council (not Consul) -good choices in Chocolate too, but not the place for vegetable shopping.

There are Kettle chips at that western grocery store down the street from the restaurant Vine (Yen Phu) - 3 storefronts south of Vine towards the Sofitel Plaza.

I saw Kettle Chips in the Citimart in Hanoi Towers yesterday. No salt and vinegar, however. Let me know if you find them!

Yes, I've found some in L's Place on 1 Xuan Dieu but I bought 6 of the 10ish bags they had, there's a shop beside L's that does them as well if it you think it's worth the trip...I think it would be.

To add to this whole Kettle Chip debate, and I'm only a disinterested "passer onner" of news. I saw that Unimart, 8 Pham Ngoc Thach, had Kettle Chips from Salem, Oregon (if that's important I don't know)for sale. Sea salt and vinegar, Lightly salted, Dijon honey and New York cheddar. 48000 vnd. Keep chipping away.
