Hi, can anyone tell me where the best place in hanoi is to buy a digital camera? I want to buy either a canon eos 400d or 350d.
I know there are lots of places by hoan kiem lake but I was toldby a friend that they're expensive and there are cheaper places. I can't get in contact with him to find out where these cheaper places are. Does anyone have any ideas?
Also, I'd like to buy some small weights for lifting (girly ones!), does anyone know where I could find some?

hi, I've bought plastic dumbells for myself (7k) and my wife (1k) at a sports shop on Pham Ngoc Thach. They are absurdly cheap. If I remember correctly they're 7,000 Dong per kilo. Seems to be a pretty standard price wherever those blue plastic heavy-stuff-filled dumbells are found. Sorry for the lack of precision. I should get the address and enter that venue on the site.

Some friends bought free wieghts around Van Mieu. I'm sorry I can't remember exactly where but there were several shops a short walk from Koto. On Nguyen Thai Hoc maybe? Not a spectacular selection but they had some of those adjustable ones with the plates you add on and some bars as well as the rubber coated type.
