Mothers' Groups in Hanoi?
no photo available

Hi everyone,

I have a young family and will be coming to Hanoi in a couple of months to live for 2 years. Can anyone recommend a store where we can buy household furnitures and white goods at reasonable prices. The missus wants to know if there are any mother's group or gatherings for mothers in Hanoi.

Thanks for your help in advanced!

Hello,

Morningstar Kindergarten runs a mothers group every Tuesday from 9:00am to 11:00am. You can check out our website for the details.

Please have them give us a call to see if any other mothers are planning on attending on a given week.

March 2008 Hanoi Botanical Gardens

I've been in Hanoi for a month now with 7 month old twins. During summer holidays most of these things take a break as this is the season for moving or travelling.

As for Mother's Groups and things like that. HIWC were fantastic with answering my questions before I arrived, unfortunately I haven't met any of the women and have now started work.

There are some websites like eBay all in Vietnamese where you can buy cots and whitegoods but you'll need to know someone who can read Vietnamese. Here is a link that will at least get you into the site but just flip through

But once you are here things fall into place very quickly and a lot of accommodation comes fully furnished.

Again HIWC will be willing and able to answer more specific questions.
