You can get food colouring at Dan's, L's place and those sort of shops, I've got it there before for play dough and when I was going to cook (but was too lazy to). They've normally got a range of colours sold in a packet, not individually

why not just buy blood? there's a plentiful supply in most markets in the morning and it's enviro friendly... :-)

Hi Ellie Me I would go with the food colouring! There is lots of real blood to be found all over Hanoi in almost all markets. Food colouring - front of 1912 Market on Hai Ba Trubg side the shop has lots of "colouring" And yes Western Canned Foods has the same.
