There's a great mechanic on Dang Thai Mai or rather off Dang Thai Mai street in Tay Ho district.
Drive down Xuan Dieu, take a left onto Dang Thai Mai street and take the first left then the first right. Basically it's behind all the potted plant shops and kumquat gardens on Dang Thai Mai street. Sorry I don't know the exact address but those directions should get you there.
You'll see the pristine and not-so-pristine Vespas thirty yards down the lane on your right.
The old owner Bao is a really honest and his mechanics are good. He speaks zero English though.
