Go to Victory on Hang Bac - they have quite a large selection of war films. I got Deer Hunter there myself a few months ago. Just ask the guy - he's very helpful.

If they don't have it at victory they will probably have it at Fox on Bao Khanh. They seem to keep an even larger collection there, though the quality is pretty much hit or miss since they are burnt DVDs. On a different note, does anyone know where I can buy Rio Bravo? I've been looking through most of the major DVD stores in Hanoi without much luck...
Amazon.co.uk for the bargain price of four pounds and ninety eight pence. You might laugh but Amazon deliveries to Vietnam are very reliable - never have to wait more than a fortnight (provided it's delivered to a recognisable address, ie not a hem or ngo). CDs, DVDs and books no problem. Amazon has kept me sane over the past three years and what a happy day it is when your little brown parcel arrives!

it seems difficult to find out this type of moive DVD in Hanoi but fortunately, I have found one DVD shop for you to buy. You can come to this street and take one to enjoy about War in Vietnam with a interesting melody of song "Can't take my eyes off you of Engelbert Humperdinck" Coming to: 5 - Đinh Liệt Street. Good luck, Bertram.
