Hey I dont know what gift you want to buy for your best friend (Female or Male) I think better wonder flower and Cake. The Cake you can look in Thai Ha Street with Hong Ha shop. Cheers.

My most favourite bakery is Thu Huong bakery at 35C Phan Dinh Phung street, Ba Dinh District. It's a very well-known bakery that serves various European style cakes. For cake, you can go to Nguyen Son bakery also, at 17 Phan Boi Chau or on Thanh Nien Str. About gift, you should have a look at giftshop which are so many in here

I gree with Thu Huong bakery at 35C Phan Dinh Phung street, Ba Dinh District. It's very delicous and they offer variety of shapes for you to choose. I hope you can buy suitable one at that places. Or you can buy from HONG KONG cake at 2 - Hang Luoc Street. I have other cake shopping for you as references: - Bùi Công Trung ở 20 Hàng Bồ. - Thu Hương ở 35A Phan Đình Phùng. - Anh Hoà ở 8 Ngõ Trạm. - Nguyễn Sơn ở 17A Phan Bội Châu. - Le Croissant trong Xóm Hà Hồi (phố Quang Trung). i know one more place at Nguyen Chi Thanh street, they have bakery French.
Sorry that place is Phan Chu Trinh Street, not Nguyen Chi Thanh.
