Try the Army Hotel - it's in Hoan Kiem, near the Opera House.
See this review: http://newhanoian.xemzi.com/en/venue/show/982/Army-Hotel
But it depends on what sort of a swimmer you are. The pool is too short for me to be able to swim a decent distance, so I have been heading up to pools around West Lake.

Hi Deano,
Oki I'll try this one & in fact it's quite near where I'm living!
Thank you for your answer... you really seem to love swimming. I like too but here it is very difficult to find somenthing which united those specifications as the bellow :
- clean, quiet, cheap, etc...
Argh! I'll become crazy ;p
I used to be a good swimmer but it was a long time ago & I want to re-do some sports.
Thanks & regards,
Alojzy.

Hi Alojzy,
There are a few pools in the Tay Ho area (I know it's a bit far from where you are looking for) that are reasonably priced, VERY quiet and nice. I will find the names for you from a few of my co-workers and get back to you. As far as the muscle training goes.........I work out at a weight training gym on Au Co road and it's great, but it's very male dominated. Nothing but free weights and a few machines. If your interested let me know. It's cheap to join, but might be a little uncomfortable (depending on if you are a man or woman).
Cheers
