Does anyone know of alternative jobs that involves writing or using the English language to make some extra cash here in Hanoi?

I would like to make some extra money and would be up for any positions that are available for part time English teaching.

Try the small English magazines - Time Out or The Guide. The pay isn't much but they are always looking for good articles. Their address and phone is on the index page or google them.

The magazines are in a lot of the restaurants - Moca, Mediterraneo, La. Keep your eyes open. I believe you can buy them at the newspaper shop at the end of Nha Tho Street - opposite the cathedral.

I hope you sent your CV to hrmanager@unishanoi.org

If yes, do give him a ring to make sure he's got it.

The School number: 04.758 1551 (ext.8719) - Mr. William Tierney

Hey YOYO,

I did send in my CV and I went in to see Mr. Tierney as well. I have not heard back though, although he says at this point they don't need teachers.

Thanks for your help though.
