As Lebanese as the cedar itself, Ya Beirut opens as Hanoi's first authentic Lebanese dining experience

The New Hanoian Meet Up with a Lebanese Flair
As you all know, tomorrow night (September 30th) is our meet up at Ya Beirut. It promises to be a culinary exploration of Hanoi's newest dining destination and its first Lebanese restaurant. Like with any meet up, any New Hanoian member will be invited to take part in the affair completely on the house. In this case, that means a full spread of choice Lebanese dishes that only the true aficionado would know, as well as all the expected beverages to finish off such a delightful meal. Things will be a bit different, however. Rather than rushing in and taking a place over for three hours like we are typically inclined to do, this will be a more sedate, casual affair. Drop in and try out what they have on offer any time between 6pm and 11pm, meet the owners, chat with the other New Hanoian regulars, then you'll probably need to make room for some of the other arrivals. Ya Beirut wants as many as possible to get in and get a chance to try out what they are sure is going to be the latest sensation in Hanoi's dining circuit. Fear not, however. For the after mingling and drinking, we have that covered as well.... |
Finishing up the Meet Up poolside. Does that sound like something you could handle?

The After Dinner Drinks, Compliments of Jafa
When the dining is done, Jafa is ready for all of you. After finishing up, you'll be presented with a voucher to take to Jafa where you'll be getting two free drinks to relax and reflect upon the restaurant experience you just had. After that, their usual happy hour specials will be extended throughout the entirety of the evening. So that's the plan. Get a pleasantly full belly at Ya Beirut, then head to Jafa for the post dinner drinks. For those who haven't yet made it to Jafa, it is nothing less than a first class bar and restaurant complete with its own pool, located in the Ciputra neighborhood of Hanoi. From Ya Beirut's Xuan Dieu location, all one needs to do is heads on farther down the dike road and turn left on Lac Long Quan toward the amusement park. As you head down that four lane stretch of Lac Long Quan, the entrance to Ciputra will be on the right. Once in the gates, go down to the first left. Head that way until the road splits into two. Take a left, the next right, and you'll find it in the building at the end of the street. Check the map on the Jafa page if you have any doubts, then see us there. Like any night at Jafa, the pool will be open and party goers are welcome to take a dip. Bring your bathing suit if you are so inclined, or just sit pool side and take in the live music they have lined up for us. All in all, it's a great chance to head out and take in the place for those who have yet to venture that way. You'll already be on that side of the lake as it is, and you'll never have a more opportune time to check it out. |
